I am a lawyer in sole practice in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. My undergraduate degree is an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. I attended law school at the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia. As a law student, I was honoured with the SPINLAW award for public interest advocacy in 2005.

Education & Experience

In 2001, I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Co-op Option and Minor in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. My undergraduate studies included courses in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, human resources, law, music, psychology and philosophy. My cooperative education experiences included software consulting, marketing and warehouse management.

In 2002, I attended Sault College and completed all of the coursework required to obtain the Certified Human Resources Professional designation.

In 2006, I earned my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia. While at UVic, I completed the standard law school curriculum as well as elective courses in Environmental Law, Immigration & Refugee Law, Equality Law, Health Law and Mass Litigation.

In 2007 & 2008, I articled with Bisceglia & Dumanski LLP in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. During my articling year, I was fortunate to enjoy a broad range of experience in civil litigation, administrative law and criminal defence.

In 2008, I received my Call to the Bar in the Province of Ontario.

In July 2009, I started my own law practice. I have been working as a sole practitioner since that time.
